1. Summary
- You log your own cycle, symptoms, moods and pregnancy details. We use them only to run Ovulation & Period Tracker for you.
- Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore under your account, encrypted in transit and at rest.
- We never sell your data, show ads, or share health data with advertisers, data brokers, employers or insurers.
- Crash reports go to Firebase Crashlytics and contain no health data.
- You can export everything or delete your account and data at any time, from inside the app.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we receive your email address and a securely hashed password (handled by Firebase Authentication — we never see your password). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's name, email address and profile picture.
Profile & personalisation answers
What you choose to tell Ovulation & Period Tracker during setup: your first name, age range, focus areas, journey stage (cycle tracking, trying to conceive, pregnancy or postpartum), wellness goals and preferences. You can skip optional questions.
Health & wellness data you log
Depending on the features you use, this may include:
- Period dates, flow, cycle and period length, regularity
- Symptoms, mood, energy, sleep, water intake, weight and daily notes
- Fertility signs, ovulation and trying-to-conceive information
- Sexual activity and intimate-wellness entries
- Pregnancy details such as due date and week, kick counts, contraction timings and appointments
- Postpartum recovery, feeding and sleep logs
- Your reminder settings
Much of this is sensitive (special category) health data. You provide it voluntarily, and we process it only with your explicit consent, which you give when you log it and can withdraw by deleting it.
Crash & diagnostic information
If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics records technical details: device model, operating system version, app version, the error and stack trace, and a random installation identifier. Crash reports do not include your health entries. Crash reporting is only active in release builds.
What we don't collect
Ovulation & Period Tracker does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files, and does not use an advertising ID.
3. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and sync your data across your devices.
- To calculate cycle day, predictions, fertile-window estimates, pregnancy week, charts, streaks and insights — all from your own entries.
- To schedule the reminders you turn on.
- To diagnose crashes and improve the app's stability.
- To reply when you contact us.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, selling, or training AI models.
4. Storage & who can access it
Your account data and logged entries are stored in Google Cloud Firestore (part of Google Firebase), in documents that belong to your account. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by Google. Ovulation & Period Tracker keeps a local copy so you can log while offline; it syncs when you reconnect.
Database security rules allow only your signed-in account to read or write your data — no other Ovulation & Period Tracker user can ever access it.
5. Data kept only on your device
- App lock PIN — stored as a one-way hash in your device's secure storage. It is never sent to us.
- Biometric unlock — handled entirely by Android. Ovulation & Period Tracker only receives a yes/no result and never has access to your fingerprint or face data.
- App preferences and scheduled reminders.
6. Permissions

7. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:
- With the service providers in section 8, solely to run the app.
- When you choose to — for example, exporting your data or sharing a health report with your doctor using your phone's share sheet.
- If required by a valid legal process. We will only disclose the minimum required, will challenge requests we believe are overbroad, and will tell you before disclosing unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
- If Gree Web Solutions is involved in a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to protect your data and you will be notified.

9. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your logged data is deleted first and then your account. Residual copies in Google's encrypted backups expire on Google's standard backup cycle. Crash reports are retained by Crashlytics for up to 90 days. Support emails are deleted once they're no longer needed.
10. Your rights & choices
You are in control, directly from the app:
- Access & portability — Privacy → Export data saves everything you've logged as a file.
- Correction — edit or remove any entry at any time.
- Deletion — Settings → Delete account erases your data and account permanently.
- Withdraw consent — delete specific entries, turn off reminders, or delete your account.
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), Washington's My Health My Data Act or India's DPDP Act — you may have further rights, including to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority. To exercise any right, email info@greewebsolutions.com. We respond within 30 days.
11. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, per-account database security rules, and optional PIN and biometric app lock. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
12. Children & teens
Ovulation & Period Tracker is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Teens aged 13–17 should use Ovulation & Period Tracker with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
13. International transfers
Firebase stores data on Google's servers, which may be located outside your country. Google protects these transfers with safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change how Ovulation & Period Tracker handles data — for example when the Luna assistant launches — we will update this page and the “Last updated” date first, and notify you in the app for significant changes. We will never start using your health data in a new way without asking.
